Totally diffferent situation, if you are in a powerless position against a tyrant you have no recourse but to complain.

I don't expect you to understand, you are clearly in love with JVG....

He needs to go. We must have someone that can develop younger talent or this team is screwed. (My opinion...) I like the article on J. Lucas in the Chronicle. I would take a look at him.

    My first option:
Rudy T with J. Lucas and M. Elie as assistants. Olajuwon as Yao's coach when available. Of course probably would not happen. For one, Rudys health. For two, Olajuwon is not here most of the time.

    Second option:
    J. Lucas or M.Elie as head coach with the other an assistant along with K. Smith as an assistant. With Olajuwon still here when he can be for Yao.

Either way its an all Rox coaching squad... :D :D

So I am a homer.

I do think either would be sweet.

How about Pete Chilcutt as the head coach and Zan Tabak as the assistant to help develop Yao. :D

If you don't understand the difference between being in power and being powerless then I can't help you.

dont try to twist it b/c you got caught in your hypocrisy.

Neither is considered "appropriate" but there is a significant difference. JVgs comment could be considered a joke, which i think it was, while billy's is bottom line b****ing

it is done and one is making a rational, well thought out argument and the other is just relying on hopes and dreams.

No doubt it was a joke, and if it were amongst the team, or with him and Billy fine, but JVG took it to the press which is very small of him.

JVG was trying to play mind games, as he always does, and shockingly he wore out his welcome and he is going to leave, as he always does.....as people like him where out their welcome.

JVG has worn out his welcome and now his top players are questioning his rotations and system, so does JVG address his issues, or tuck tail and run.....

    Any guess?

Translation, one is an argument that DM agrees with the other is not.....

so a joke to the press is worse than a serious whinning session by billy. got it. Crystal clear! its obvious where you are coming from.

If everyone is upset about no development this year, imagine next year. If he was this obsessive about win now, next year he is gonna be 10x worse. At least this year people weren't upset with him going into season, next year people will even be upset with him....

Let him go, its time to go in a new direction...

JVG is a good coach, good enough to bring us into the playoff, and surely for next year if he stays. However, he will NEVER bring us a ring.
Watching JVG's game is just tedious. If he can not win it all, at least, bring us some excitement, win or loss, we all take it.
The loss to the Jazz said everything. As long as we keep Yao and T-mac, Gundy will repeat eerything for us, book it. Sorry, I like Gundy's intelligence and effort, but Rox needs change NOW.

So you would park Yao out behind the 3-point line?

People complain about him coming out to set screens - clearly he's not always in the post. And why would you want to turn Yao into Sam Perkins?

I would mix in some high post offense to go along with low post to give teams a different look on Yao.

Right now, JVG's posting of him at the low block only leads to other teams being able to easily defend him with one style of defense.

Even Hakeem mixed in a little high post offense.
