Do we need JVG next year?

Do we need JVG next year?

I wont believe JVG could bring ANY team to the second round of
playoff game. he never gives trust to role players and rookies.
His goose was finally cooked. Go home Jeff.

next year. find a new coach. let howards, head, alston go, you guys are fired.

At this point, I am pretty much convinced we need some new blood on the bench and in the locker room. I think it would be for the better if this JVG experiment is over and done with. With that being said, he will probably need to be bounced out of the first round again to get fired. Obviously, I can't in good faith hope the Rockets lose again in the first round just so that I can see JVG gone before next season rolls around.

More than anything else, I am very frustrated with the Yao/McGrady duo. They simply haven't lived up to the hype and if they lose again in the 1st round this year, then the experiment would've been nothing less than a complete failure.

I don't think JVG had done a bad job, but it's time for change. We need a STRUCTURED offense. It seems like we're still running the same offense from the Francis/Mobley days. There's nothing different from then and now. High screen and roll or just let our best perimeter player (whether it was Francis or McGrady) fire at will. The only thing new that came about is the sideline three that he basically stole from Popovich.

For JVG to stay he either has to:

    - lose to Dallas in a very tight series.
    - win a second round series.

Basically, any outcome that doesn't include one of those two will get him fired.

If he can't do that, he's done all he can as a coach and we both need to move on. Personally, I would love for Larry Brown to coach this team.

But right now, I'm thinking about game 5. Let's see what he can do. Hopefully, we'll get through this series, and that's what counts.

He must go for fans' sake. His game is unwatchable. I can't imagine that i will spend another season watching his games and his sad expression after every game.

JVG sucks. that's will be my all post first words from now till we win.

Can we get Jeff's brother? He coached Miame pretty good that year.

Or I say anyone is better than Jeff, I just tired his stubbern.

Adelman makes sense. This team has more offensive talents than defensive talents. JVG's style of basketball is ugly too watch no matter we can get out of first round or not.

I agree. For the first time, I have been bored watching rockets games. It is so slow, there are so many fouls called, and they end up loosing anyway. I was watching the Warriors the other day and it was so exciting and fun to watch.

honestly, JVG knows how to get this team through the regular season. He knows how to get his guys motivated to not underestimate playing the Hawks, and the Bucks during the regular season. However, when it comes to offensive diversity, in-game adjustments; he is no winner. We would be much better off with a different coach in the playoffs. However, we would lose our defensive reputation
