No Larry Brown please. If you don't like JVG, Larry would be worse.

I doubt that van gundy wont come back

hes a great coach, and we had a great season.

Might I suggest that all of the Van Gundy haters pull their heads out of their a$ses and look at what the Rockets have done this year, and what their doing in the playoffs right now. This is the closest they've come to going deep in the playoffs in a very long time.

Some poeple's inability to see the good in certain situations amazes me. Maybe some wellbutrin or a high colonic or some meditation would help out.

Know exactly what you mean, but lot of good coaches don't make it to the next season if they don't go deep into playoffs win championships (ala Don Nelson, Flip Saunders, Del Harris).

I don't know what you're talking about but they had a 2-0 lead on Dallas a couple of years back, and even won a 3rd game.

This team hasn't won a 3rd game yet and its still 1st round fodder at the moment as far as things are concerned.

Larry Brown wants to coach again. He is > Assistant coach Gundy, he won't settle for Tmac taking wild outside shots and he does utilize his players right.

so you want a guy that will probably lobby to leave and pursue other jobs within one to two years of coaching here?

no doubt Larry knows his x's and o's, but the guy has zero loyalty anywhere and lost some cred with the Knicks last season

Fellow Fans please get over Larry Brown and Phil Jackson. You need to look deeper at their coaching careers and you wil find out that they are not suitable in the same areas as Jvg is unsuitable. At least if we keep what we have we know exactly what we have! Les needs to find additional coaches who could make up for JVGs deficiencies.

Oooo Wee, he won 1 more game than he did 2 years ago! Not discredit the winning while Yao went down, but the players dont move when he has the ball they only watch, similar to when Tracy has it!

Coaching is part of this equation and movement is the only way for 2 tandum teams to be successful! ALA Laker Dynasty of a few years ago! The difference is that they usually had a rotating third player that could score in double figures and shoot atleast 40%

    NEW COACH....PLAY PLAYERS...PLEASE

We need to coax Paul Westphal to leave his middle school gig.

The bench is bad on offensive because they spend too much energy on defense. I think that JVG should be fired. Bring back Rudy.

This team doesn't have another gear. Thats why we won't do crap in the playoffs. Our defense can't improve and we nobody on the team that can create besides t-mac.

If we don't play our bench in regular season, we can't develop any bench player who can play well in play off. Fire JVG.

If you don't trust your players, why do you borther to coach this team?

I'm a huge JVG and love what he has done in Houston but this guy needs to go pure and simple. He is coaching with two superstars and yet spend so much energy on defense that we end up playing crappy mediocre offense. the guy does not firt the system so he must be chopped
