Wow, the pot is calling the kettle black. Maybe before this season the JVG haters actually had logical points; now that the Rockets have overperformed... the logical points have been reduced to trivial sniping and blind hate.

By your standard then, Phil Jax would be a black mamba, the most lethal snake around. I'd take Phil Jax and his 9 rings any day, snake or not.

 

Personally, I thought that was CLASSLESS. Actually negatively commenting on a player's performance, to the media? Where does he get off?

Well, I thought it was all right under the circumstances, but you are right that that was a much harsher thing to do that ribbing Spanoulis for b****ing to the media.

He has the right to do it though, because he is the coach. As many others have said, many of the best coaches around are known to occassionally be a**holes. Deal with it. He is in business to win games, not win support for a fan club.

 

So... according to you, everything JVG does is automatically bad, results be damned. Does this make you any less of a tool? It just makes you an anti-JVG puppet as opposed to a pro-JVG puppet. Maybe some people can actually think and realize that JVG's methods are working?

uh, yes he did. He whined to Blinebury, Feigen and Lopez...all before the greek article. It is just that Blinebury was collecting quotes and waited to write his article. Ended up, the Greek article came out first. But he was whining to any media who would listen, already.

Any Damn NBA coach will do well with Yao And MIng ( and you throw in Battier)- I am not saying JVG is not a great coach- but to say that we have the record because of him, that is plain wrong. There are games we lost- solely because he did not want to play people he had issues with.

There are games he would rather stick with his rotations- despite knowing that this will cost us the game. His stubborness to adapt is his biggest weakness.

 

Don't confuse JVG with Phil Jackson. Jackson albeit no saint will use media tactics to motivate players. What JVG is doing with the media is no ploy. He hates people who have him second guessed. He hates Billy right now. He is not trying to motivate the kid. Billy will not get off the pine under JVG. SO what's to motivate. For those who think otherwise you have been decieved. JVG is a good coach in some areas but he is a better manipulator and he has you JVG lovers fooled. What is the point of his stupid comment. It serves no purpose other than a self serving purpose of attempting to ridicule Vspan a little more. A clasless act from a classless man.
