    Very true -- but why not risk the pick on a player like Stepp or a PF that at least has a slim chance of helping the Rocks?

    maybe....but maybe Flores will help the rockets.. he played great in the ncaa tourney, i'll just give him the same chance to prove he is a nba player and help the rockets

    speaking of PF types.. i'd love see the rox give Thomas from texas a training camp invite.... any know if that Myles guy from Xavier came out this year... if so same goes for him

    It baffles me that the Rockets didn't select Stepp. He is a true floor general with NBA range, an understanding of running a half court offense, and a leader. IMO, it was a mistake to not bring him in. Flores can score and is excellent at getting to the rim, but has also well below average handles. 6'2, in shoes, as a shooting guard limits many of his options at the NBA level. The scout team must have seen something positive in Chicago.
