JVG said that rafer is playing at a level right now thats just about as good as any top pg in the league...even chris paul. he never said that rafer is better than cp3. big difference!!

But he's not. Most of his shots are still created by others. Also, Rafer doesn't make other guys better. He just brings the ball up the court. He is a poor man's Mark Jackson

Defensively he's playing with good pressure on the ball, although Paul lit him up

JVG is blowing smoke up our behind

Rafer is playing good enough to match most pgs in the league during the streak. Chris Paul and Deron Williams are probably doing better though.

    that's funny b/c we're so used to 35-38% shooting.

JVG also said tmac is the #2 SG in the L. mark jackson said manu is b/c he will get a team out of the first round and then said he has a lot of open space b/c of duncan  .

it's like when people compares tracy to anybody, they bring up the first round. does he really think manu can lead ANY team out of the first round?

Marc Jackson: "Do you have a retort to that sir?"

Jeff Van Gundy: "Yeah, I got a big one but it would be full of bleeps"

Rafer is playing out of his mind but anyone who saw Chris Paul last night couldn't even come close to comparing the two. Paul is ridiculous and Rafer is just playing really really well right now.

Rafer has been playing like a top PG recently.
Now we need not worry about our PG when the Rox face a team with top PG like CP3, Deron Williams, Jason KiDD, etc.

what alot of us forget is

we got two guys on this team
averaging assist of 6 or more during this streak (I think Mac is averaging 6 assists correct me if im wrong.) This is sharing the ball at the maximum. I don't think there is another team in the NBA that even comes close. Its like having two point guards on at the same time. But with the added advantage of one being a scoring swingman as well.

I bet JVG and Mark Jackson hate each other. But that's what it takes to create great tandems. Look at Shaq-Kobe, no love there. Maybe Tracy and Yao should start having bones to pick with each other, just to max out our on-court chemistry.

Alone Mark Jackson blows. With JVG he is perfect IMO. Mike Breen seems to fit well with these guys also. They are more entertaining than the game although almost all of the credit goes to JVG. He is perfect at helping fans understand nuances of the game while not sounding like a know it all.

Then again, I really like Bill Walton.

    Then there is Parker/Ginobili/Duncan, Billups/Hamilton/Prince/Wallace, Pierce/Allen/Garnett...

There is no need for T-Mac and Yao to change their ways.
