For a reason. Phil Jackson give those immature young guys to show their talent.

You forgot Derek Anderson's whirlpool burns and wrinkled fingers and toes from spending too much time in the hot tub.

Tmac's headache from throwing his head against Deke's elbow.

Jon Barry's premature aging and male pattern baldness.

Bobby Sura's fainting due to sexual exhaustion.

    David Wesley and 3's shortness.

    Mike James's attitude.

And about 200 cases of carpal tunnel syndrome incurred by clutchfans typists trying to keep up with all of the endlessly informative and repetitive threads.

Ok, im NOT a JVG hater I like JVG. With that aside there's two things wrong with your post; first JLIII is a better shooter than vspan from what we saw this season so far (not based on just one game!) and you also left out the vspan is not a good ball handler therefore is a TO machine!! Second Hell No!! I would not put hayes over howard!! specially hayes with Yao what are you thinking man?!! he'll just get in the way of Yao! while hayes in down low what do you want Yao to do shoot 3s? if you start hayes and give him more minutes he'll have 5 fouls by the end of first half! he's a good player off the bench!

How are the Lakers More Talented than the Rocket [without Yao]?

    T-mac = Kobe . . or is Kobe > Tmac?

    Kwame Brown > Deke?
    Luke > >> J Ho?

    Smush >> HEad?

Yes, Kobe Bryant > Tmac, just based alone on the fact that he is healthy. On top of that, he averages more points and shoots a higher percentage.

I was thinking Odom was back but I see he is not. The rest of the team looks kind of even. Though I think I'd rather have Bynum than Mutombo for the length of the seaosn. I'd say Smush> Rafer.

I never said Spanoulis was a better shooter than JL3, I said that with Lucas' poor shooting efforts and below average d there is no reason not to give Billy a look at point since he just does not cut it at the 2 at this point.

Second, HELL YES Hayes will start over Howard. The reason Howard is starting is because you can't have DEKE and Hayes out there at the same time. The lineup of Alston, T-Mac, Battier, Hayes and Yao is probally the best +- 5 in the NBA. T-Mac and Yao on the floor=Hayes at 100% production

We're more talented. As for those comparisons - Juwan>=Walton, Head > Smush, Deke>Kwame^25
But we were also without Snyder and Bonzi. We lost 2 of our 3 best players, filling in players who are mismatched at either side of the court, and still winning games. Phil Jackson is also a top 5 coach. But he's more known for taking loaded teams and putting them over the top rather than over-achieving with scrubs. This year he is over-achieving, but a major factor to that is that home heavy schedule they had. They got to build a lot of momentum off of that and are still riding it even with a big win in San Antonio.

    this is my big thing
If Phil gets the Lakers into the Playoff with anything above an 8th seed
I think he will get Coach of the Year
