just had some yesterday....best fast food burger! Whataburger is slighty better than Burger King,Wendys, etc. the only other burger joint that could compare is five guys but overall In-N-Out takes the cake
In-N-Out is better than whataburger. I like whataburger though. Nothing wrong with it. It's good. Sonic has good variety in their menu. I know it's bad for you, but I really like fast food.
Thats exactly why. The reason the food is so good is because the produce is as fresh as possible. I believe the farthest In-n-out burger is currently located in Tucson Arizona. bigtexx as usual doesn't know what he's talking about. In-N-Out is so much better than Waterburger its not even funny. But we've had this conversation about 70 times before.
Are the fries twice fried or only once? Because frozen fries are better than fresh cut fries that are only fried once.
do you mean half-baked then fried? Because frozen fries are often half-baked first. the point is to get the water out before frying. but you can do that be salting the raw fresh cut fries and letting them sit...then frying them just once. twice frying sounds so wrong to me...it would soak the with oil and not do anything to get the water out. just saying
About the fries, IIRC, they take a potato and put in on a grate and squeeze a top handle down. The potato stringifies and falls straight into the oil.
Have your In-N-Out menu questions answered here : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In-N-Out_Burger_menu_items Oh, and Wataburger is OK ... better than McDonalds if you want a real hamburger, but I'd take a Whopper over a Wataburger... In'n'out is better than WB though, for sure.
They always do it in front of a window so you can watch it while waiting on the drive-thru line. I'm not sure about falling straight to the oil though.
Was about to get something to eat, so after seeing this I'll go to In n Out around the corner... I think people give their fries extra credit cuz they see the actual process, the person tossing in the fresh potatoes & cranking them out through the slicer device (like shown above). So its more appreciating the honest effort behind the fries rather than the fries itself. On pure taste I'm still way for having some traditional fast food McDonalds style fries I used to absolutely HATE the over-hype with In n Out, so then -- man we've talked about this so many times already
In-n-Out used to give away bumper stickers that looked like this:

But they stopped because too many people altered them to look like this instead:

dudeeei love that place i went to LA once and had it...omg it was the best but i forgot about their "secret" menu so i just ordered the plain stuff i think matt did kinda the same thing once they had video too...it was them in memphis eating ribs..boy it looked delicious!
