Thanks a lot Branton! Browsing didn't bother me much. It's the torrent files download speed that kills me most. Either people gave up seeding the files or my torrent client simply cannot reach the seeds. My PC has been on like 5-6 days (I reset it once or twice due to PC hang) but so far I can only download like 19.1% of the Clippers game and 59.9% of the Pacers game. Pathetic.

Can your proxy setting work for torrent client? Anyways, Happy New Year to you!

I think the news reporter said 1 week + a couple of days after the earthquakes happened, at a guess 4th-5th Jan.

Howard has had an excellent month. No, he doesn't block shots, and has only the occasional steal. Can't shoot from downtown, but is smart enough not to attempt it. Hasn't attempted a 3 all season. He's not a guy to rack up assists, although he has a game, here and there, where he forgets that and passes the ball. Not a terrific man defender, but an excellent team defender, unless he forgets to do that. Juwan is very good at drawing fouls from relatively inexperienced players, and stupid ones, and makes them pay by nailing his FTs. He can rebound very well when he really wants to, and he's really been wanting to the past month. Juwan shoots very well when he stays within his range, which he does most of the time. Yes, he's pretty slow, but he makes up a bit for that by being smart.

Yes, I expected Howard to digress this season, not play the best he's played in a few years. I don't know what he's taking, but I wish he'd share it with some of the older bastards around here, like me. I'm concerned with the fact that he's played the most minutes per game of the season the last two games. Can he keep that up if he's used that much, or should JVG keep his minutes in the mid-20s, as he has most of the year? We'll have to see. Juwan has my props, and I was one of those who would have been delighted to see him moved. I never "hated" him, though. I've always thought the term "haters" was rather juvenile, but that's just me.

    Keep it up, Juwan!

I'd still trade him and a pick and cash for Artest in a second.

I thought Artest had developed a bad back, SJC. Is there anything to that?

I don't know...I know he is insane, but it would just be too tempting. RealGM says that Sacramento contacted the Clippers about a potential trade, so it looks like they are shopping him. They already have Kenny Thomas, Abdur-Rahim and Mo Taylor, though.

Which is exactly why they could use another Rocket throwaway...

    Juwan/Pick/Cash + Battier/Snyder for Artest + Abdur-Rahim.

That would quite handily leave the Kings with an all-Rocket 4 spot, and we'd get the elusive shooting PF.

    :D

...Back on topic, I'm loving the new Juwan. I've always respected him as a capable starting PF in the past (disregarding "The Contract"), but I'm actually becoming enamoured with his game's more recent role-player manifestation.

I'd never trade Battier. I hope he retires as a Rocket.

But with Artest...doesn't he become a bit expendable? We'd have like 4 starting small forwards.

I don't really want that trade - I'm just playing around anyway. But just to ask...
