Yep. He had some decent games against Hakeem back in the day. Hard to believe, huh? ;)

Shawn Kemp never recovered from his problems. I remember when he was a force. We never needed Barkley if we knew that the SuperSizing at McDonalds would help us stop the SuperSonics.

Tinman, I don't have a problem with you or your posting, but I just think you should let the vendetta against Juwan go. Let it go man, let it go. Were you a Bullets/Wizards fan when he was there or something? He has been a solid contributor his whole career. He's a good guy with a good attitude. He's not the typical type of rebounder that a power forward is, but I believe the positives outweigh that and whatever other negatives he may have. He's probably the Rockets best scoring option after T-Mac and Yao, so what the hell.

With that said, in their PRIMES, I'd say Vin was better. Over the course of their careers, Juwan is the better player because he has kept up good play a lot longer.

Glad to have them both on the best team in the world!

I haven't said any anti-Juwan stuff on this post.

If I were a Bullets/Wizards fans, I would post MUCH harsher things about Juwan. I've heard stories about how bad the Wizards/Bullets were. They couldn't give away tickets.

We still have issues at PF we need to address in the offseason. But we are so strong at guards/Center now, that the PF issue is non exisistent. We still need to dump some MO salary. Lets see what CD does this summer.

Someone told me that they heard a Cassell for Juwan trade near the deadline!

However, the only day, daresay, I care about is today. Ho is servicable (please upgrade this summer) and Vin is done.

I did like his interview, so -- walk the walk, VB, just don't talk it and 100s of 1000s of Rox fans will give you the love big time!

Okay, that's true, my bad. But, it seemed like you were making this thread to make a point about how much Howard sucks (which he doesn't). Comparing player's careers years ago to today doesn't have much bearing. If you know what I'm saying...

I heard that, too, and I don't like that at all. Cassell is solid but is gettin' OLD. We have Sura (and James now, too), we would have been left with Spoon and Padgett (maybe Mo-T) at the 4, and I think most would agree we're better off with Howard. I know you weren't neccessarily supporting the trade by how you just said it, just adding my opinion about that trade proposal.

Its a good topic to bring up since we have a bunch of has-beens in the forward position. Spoon/Vin/JHoward were all big names.
Spoon was suppose to be the next Charles Barkley..etc

My opinion of Howard's skills are the same. The Rockets major strengths outweigh their weaknesses. What am I going to say? Mo Taylor is 10x better than Howard? No way. Our PF position is still weak, but it is better than it was with Mo Taylor. Hopefully Vin can get some boards.

Oh yeah, I agree. Nobody's debating you on that.

Juwan will be solid for the Rockets until they can trade for a more traditional PF or get one in free agency.

I think Vin will be able to contribute some. He's happy to be here, and happy ballplayers perform better.

Vin Baker, Weatherspoon and Moochie played tonight.
We must have won by 30pts.
