I think Juwan Howard gave us all he had, which at times wasn't very much. Starting late in the regular season and during the playoffs, he was one of the worst players in the NBA. Still, there are some good memories and I hope he meshes will with KG in Minny.

My fondest memories of him were the Fab 5 days at Michigan. That was an amazing team and some of the flashes of talent they showed during the season were something else. The NCAA tournament run was great but the loss to Duke still hurts me today (because I dislike Duke so much).

    lol.....so fuking gay! :D

but i do have respect for howard, even for his horrendous performance against the jazz. he's truely a consummate professional and have leadership abilities that this team lacks. If only Tmac had such leadership abilities. As good a guy shane is, he's no way near howard in terms of a lockerroom voice that howard provides.

I remember when Yao went in for a huge dunk against Miami, and Howard just leaped up off the bench and looked like he'd never been more excited about anything. That moment just really resonated with me for whatever reason.

Truly a great teammate and professional. I'll miss the guy, even though it's the right move from a basketball standpoint.

I know he is overpaid and he is not a good fit in this team.
But he is very professional and nice. Good luck, Juwan.

Yeah, I first read that we would get MJ. Then I thought, damn JHo and MJ on the same team. After further reading I learned that they shifted away JHo....:D

Howard was one of the anchors for this team last season. Hate to see him go, but it's time for a change.

I get the feeling that his game will mesh well with Garnett. Best of luck to him.

If this trade did nothing but draw DD out of his retirement, than it was a good trade. Welcome back DD and good luck JH

When we needed to Tank, you kept us from Brandon Roy.

    Thanks for that.

I'm not exactly sure why Minnesota was willing to take on Juwan...

    But oh well... Good luck!

It's really a bad move. Juwan will be an expired contract and be an asset to trade for a bigger talent. It's like an old horse for a young goose.

It's too bad he wasn't able to play against Dallas in that playoff series. In any case, he did things the right way, and good luck, Juwon.

RIP, Juwan. You're going where NBA players go to die. But thanks for always being the consummate professional and keeping that goatee ever so groomed.

I love this trade, but you've gotta admit - he had as much heart as anybody whether it was on the bench cheering or garnering some offensive rebounds. I wish he could've just stayed healthy for that Dallas series a couple years back. Then, I'm sure this thread would be inundated with more compliments from fans. I hate reliving would could have been... Juwan, go get your cash monies from the T'wolves and charm those Minnesotans to death!
