I thought Juwon was AS TALL if not bigger than Mo

    Maurice Taylor F 6-9 255 10/30/1976
    Juwan Howard F 6-9 230 02/07/1973

Tinman, there's nothing really wrong with Howard if you accept him for what he is: an OK bench player. While his career stats may suggest more (17/7), he's the kind of player who cannot be counted upon as a difference maker. If your beef with him is because you feel that he's an underperforming marquis player then your animosity is misplaced. Howard is just not a star caliber player and should not be labelled as such. He's just OK and that the best word to describe him as a player. My problem with him is that at 6' 9", he simply doesn't possess the physical presence to complement Yao defensively and on the boards.

Juwan has definitely disappointed me so far. I don't know how you can short-arm 8-10 foot jumpers, but he manages to do it every time.

Isn't Kenny Thomas the same height?
I like KT, just keep him away from a kennel.

the problem with him is that he's thinking too much when he's shooting. common reason for short arming shots.

What is he thinking about? Was he afraid that Webber would call a time out?

He is thinking because he is missing shots, and then he misses more. He should practise shooting every day from now on.

I had the same impression. The guy just can't shoot, plain and simple. I would weigh my option if i was Van Gundy. Straight up!:D

Man i was defending Howard through these 3 games but i have to say Tinman that iam slowly leaning towards your hatred for him...well maybe not as bad.

There were way too many times that Howard should not have been shooting. His shot selection really sucked on Saturday. I don't mind if he is in the post and makes a move but to take those 15 foot jumpers is not acceptable.

There were a few times, one in particular, where Howard had a wide open Boki on the wing that he could have passed to, but he hesitated then took a 15 foot jumper short arming it.

Howard if you are in the post make a move and shoot...if your facing the basket don't shoot it okay? pass it out to a real shooter.

For me, its not 3 games. Its his entire career. Juwan Howard reminds me when Rudy got us GLEN RICE. The Glen Rice that the Lakers got rid of wasn't the same Glen Rice that scored all those points in Charlotte and Miami. He was the guy who was bricking his famed pure shooter status into the toilet.

Rudy got us an injured GLEN RICE. And it didn't take long for Glen boy to get all chubby on us during his "recovery." He never was the same after that.

Both MoT and Moochie followed suit (the Rudy diet plan?). MoT proceeded to blow out his Achilles tendon. And the Mooch? Well, he was just fat. If anybody would fall in this category it would be Sura. We'll see what happens there.
