I usually give them time. Ward sucked last night along w/ Howard, but it's all about chemistry. This is their 1st game of the regular season. You have 81 to go. Take a seat and just watch the season. After the All-Star break, we can then scream at them if they are sucking. Right now, you can't do it.
Shooting, ward had a nice game..but as a PG he had a horrible game with turnovers and not getting 1 assist. I wouldn't go as far as he sucked, but what he was brought in to do, he didn't do it last night...he's not supposed to shoot lights out but he did last night 4/5 but still he needs to make sure he runs the offense effeciently.
come on ... fellas, we all know tinny is a little joker ! of course, I too am counting the days until Sura gets back.
Stack, his scoring was fine....you're right. But the rest of his stats: 1 Assist? That's crazy. He's a PG. We don't need him to shoot as if he is our go-to guy. His role as general to run the offense wasn't there.
I agree with you..that's what i said in my post...what he was brought in to do, HE didn't do it....1 assist out of our PG is horrible.
My bad, Stack. I hope he comes through in the next few games. Our backup is Lue....that says it all. I think he has a simple job: Bring ball down, dump it into Yao or pass it to T-Mac. That's it.
Ward is putting up "MOOCHIE" like stats. I'm still uncomfortable about rooting for ex-Knicks. Especially ex-Knicks that suck. Did anyone catch the Laker game? Rudy has that team playing with great chemistry already.
chemistry? come on man they are playing like they are in a gym and just running and gunning....of course they are going to be relaxed and score point and just go up and down the court...i don't see them have a real offense or something...im just wondering how long that will last.
Ok, now he averages 6pts per game... He needs 39 pts next game to bring his average up to 17 Obviously he played better, but what did I say about Juwan?? He's the Titanic of the NBA.
