http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/06/03/justin-blackmon-arrested-for-aggravated-dui/ The Tulsa World reports that Jaguars rookie wide receiver Justin Blackmon was arrested on a complaint of aggravated DUI early Sunday in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Details are scant at this point, though Blackmon was booked into Payne County Jail at 10 a.m. Sunday morning. Per Oklahoma law, an “aggravated” DUI occurs when the driver has a blood-alcohol content of .15 or greater. Blackmon was also charged with a DUI at Oklahoma State. In April, the Jaguars traded up to select Blackmon with the fifth overall pick in the draft. ------------------- What an idiot...great start to his career.
He has a DUI charge from college too. What an idiot, dude just became a millionaire and he's going through contract negotiations to determine how many millions he will get. Is it really that hard to be responsible and simply call a cab?
wow i read it wrong. That is straight up hammered. Don't think it takes that much more in your system than that do get alcohol poisoning.
Yeah, initially I figured it was around 0.15....but the fact that he blew a 0.24 is crazy. So wreckless, even outside the fact that he was in the middle of contract negotiations.
Not a bad person, just stupid. If you can't learn your lesson after one DUI, then there is a serious screw loose in your head. At this point, his age shouldn't be an excuse, as he's an adult on the verge of signing a multi-million dollar contract. Charles Rogers 2.0.
Wow!! What a reply. I am sure MADD feels exactly the same way. Do not care if you are a good or bad person - if you get behind the wheel drunk you are endangering the lives around you. By the way, drunk drivers come in all ages and just because "he's what 22" does not mean a thing.
Blackmon seemed like a good guy from all the stories ESPN showed relating to the kid with cancer. I liked watching him in the Big 12 was not to excited that the Jags got him seemed like a bad fit. I can somewhat understand people getting 1 DWI esp. if you're a young person but getting a 2nd is just idiotic.
