    I'm just saying if he was a slow runner, he would remain catcher for his entire career. The OF would be a good fit for him because he has an arm and he can run.

    A great catcher is just about infinitely more valuable than a great outfielder.

    Serious question: has there been *any* word from the Twins org. about moving him to another position?

    Some Minnesota sports commentators but everything I've heard from the Twins is that he is staying at catcher for the foreseeable future. I remember when he is in the minors this issue came up and the Twins were worried about him burning out his arm and legs early but he's proved he can handle it. I'm guessing if any signs of trouble start showing, like nagging leg injuries, they will make a switch.
