wait...i totally agree with you that we've put innocent people to death and that the system is flawed...no argument...that's why i'm against the death penalty! i will say that i believe that those horrible mistakes are quite rare...but i think even one is too much to justify keeping the system alive. but you're trying to equate this story of palestinian "justice" with the american legal system, saying they just get the job done quicker there. that's just a really huge stretch.
I'll admit that it was a stretch on my part. It was just a reaction to those that professed outrage and shock that such a thing could happen when it happens here too. I guess if a man here in the U.S. murdered two elderly women and raped his grandmother, I believe there would be a lot of people eager to see him executed in the U.S. as well. So for people to act shocked that it would happen some other place got me going. I did make a huge stretch.
