If the trade did happen, I wonder if we would of had to give up all the picks we got from Ny. Cause I don't think Phx would done the trade just for Battier and Scola and one draft pick.

Im sure thats a pile of crap. Two games in and they get worried? Why haven't they been this worried over Ariza's shooting? My gosh, why is Richard Justice even a writer for any sport other than baseball?

Good to know he declined to trade after Amare's failure to commit. Man, wish he commited though. Yao, Amare and Martin are damn near unstoppable at their perspective positions.

don't forget Brooks too. we would've had 4 all-star caliber players.

The Knicks will not get James. It has been well documented that any of the max players out there would have to walk out on approx. $30 mil to just sign with another team as a FA, rather then work out a sign n trade with someone or stay with their current team. I doubt the Knicks get any of the top tier FA, because they all are either looking for their biggest pay day or looking to team up with another top tier FA for their best chance at a championship.

I can't wait to laugh at the Knicks when that happens. The rest of the teams in the NBA have a better chance at the sign and trade for top tier guys, since they have talent still remaining on their team. Who can NY offer? The Knicks will only have B level or less talent FA's to throw money at and hope to build a team around who they have left.

Amare is going to the Heats or the Knicks. Knicks will not get James or Wade, so Amare can be no.1 guy and make lots of money, that is the perfect fit for him. The Rockets can not have either of those for him.

Would've been just about everyone. Trevor Ariza's man could aways help off lol. But he probably would've gone back to more of the same role he played in LA if the trade had gone down.

You'd think thats what he wants, but then why wouldn't he commit to the 6ers?

He'd been the #1 guy there and they would surely give him his money. I don't think any one at this point knows what the guy wants. Not even himself.

I still think Chuck Hayes would have the nod over him.

I told you guys Amare was and still is absolutely not interested in coming to Houston.

Now can Morey stop trying to force him to get here through a trade when clearly the dude would hate it?

Gosh get over this guy, also get over Bosh he said he didn't want to play in Texas.

If a player doesn't want to play for the Rockets or be here i'd rather he stay wherever he is.

I was worried too, and if you don't think they were worried then you're kidding yourself. Martin shot atrociously those first 2 games, and Rockets are locked into his contract for 3 more year.

    Luckily he's turned it around.

    You're reaching a bit, if it's true that he didn't want to commit...that doesn't mean "I DON'T LIKE HOUSTON!"

Like it could mean he wants to see OTHER options, which I think that's what he really wants to do.

Who cares what Bosh says? Tmac said he wanted to remain in Houston and so did Artest. Bosh going to say he wants to play for the Raptors because he doesn't want to upset the fans there.

You expect him to say "OOh yeah I'd love to play there!" then he'd have to fight off more questions everyday.

I think Bosh said he didn't want to play in DALLAS cause it's his home city and it would be weird to go back there and play. Maybe it would be too much pressure. That's what Fran of NBA.con said on 610. He also said that he ask Bosh earlier in the season if he thought he if could maybe come to Houston and said Bosh smiled at the thought. Hope that means something. :)
