Justice Article 8/27 Hey Jeff and Clutch, lock this up if it's a repost. I skimmed through the first page of threads and see nothing on this except for a bunch of Lauren Jackson news. Because killing two people is the same as punching out a fan.
Fixed. I understand trepidation, but welcoming a player to a city and to your team is a lot different than condoning what they have done... IN THE PAST. Justice is just trying to get hits, don't give in!
Justice is an idiot. He advocated the Astros bringing Bonds. Bonds has questionable character, to put it mildly.
It's good to know we will be getting this same batch of sour grapes from dicky justice all season long.
I couldn't agree with you more.........If you can't get over someone's past mistakes then something is wrong. I hate when people try to put a damper on something good. All the ney sayers will be the FIRST in line when that parade happens on Louisiana St.
What bothers me, I guess, is that this guy has been used time and time again by ESPN as the local guy they would go to whenever any Houston sports teams makes a move or signs a player. He's not even the best sportwriter the Chronic employs. The Rosenisms he spews out about the Rockets is crazy. He really needs to stick with one sport. Like the Astros...oh wait, the guy constantly flip flops about his opinion on the team and its owner. Or the Texans..oh wait, the guy knows nothing about football. The Chronic is better off having Ken Hoffman do their sports columns.
Don't give them any ideas. We've had countless threads about Justice's takes on the bbs over the years I've been here. The man is prone to changing his mind, to say the least. Justice is actually a rather good writer, but his opinions are... exasperating, let's say. After Ron's first 15-point 4th quarter, Justice is going to be singing his praises, to the surprise of no one. Richard Justice's opinions sway and float hither and thither on the soft zephyrs of "what am I feeling today." Once you accept that as the way it'll always be, it gets much easier to read his columns without rolling your eyes out of your head.
Justice is a moron. He contradicts himself and I really don't understand why he hasn't been put out to pasture yet.
Ron served his time and looks like he's put the "brawl" past him a long time ago. I say we put Justice to pasture. Can't wait to see his response when we get our 3rd.
Good lord, Justice is getting more and more annoying. Let's just look at all the negatives a person does and just ignore all the positives. Doesn't matter if he is donating money and helping out PETA. It matters that he didn't take care of his dog once. Doesn't matter that he has a program which gets kids scholarships to go to college and get an education. It matters that he's once punched a guy who threw beer on him. The glass is always half empty with Justice. It's annoying reading his articles.
I'm not trying to be condescending or anything, but I seriously want to know why you and some others insist on typing "Chronic" instead of "Chronicle". I don't buy that it's an abbreviation meant to save time and effort. Do you just like the sound of it, think it's funny, or what? Maybe I missed an inside joke... By the way, I agree with your opinion. Every time PTI brings in someone to talk about the Rockets it's Justice. Makes no sense to me. Jonathan Feigen is never available?
Wow, does this guy always write this kind of crap? Remind me not to read any of his articles from here on out if so...
It's because the "L" on my keyboard is stuck hahaha jk I just thought that we call it that is because most of the time the only way you can actually read/agree with their columns is if you were high yourself.
Justice, Artest is still allowed to play in the NBA, the fans like him. What is your point? This gay should lose his job by writing so many bad articles for the local players, but who cares? I do not read his paper anyway. "How about a standing ovation for Ron Artest? Uh, I don't think so. I had a creepy feeling watching Ron Artest get that wild ovation when the Rockets introduced him Monday. It just doesn't seem right. This guy has been a poster boy for bad behavior, with everything from domestic violence to animal neglect to punching out a fan. He has been suspended 10 times."
In fact, if I recall correctly it turns out that the dog was just sick and Ron was absolved of wrongdoing in that case. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2851696
