The Justice League guys based on their natural powers are more than a match for the Avengers. However if we get a superteam from the X-men/Cosmic genre, it would be a lively situation. Dark Phoenix and Silver Surfer as people have mentioned. I'd add Gladiator, Beta Ray Bill, Adam Warlock...
Yeah now you are talking about something totally different though. The Avengers PLUS the most powerful forces in their universe that aren't considered Gods vs The Justice League. I think your post should just about end this discussion lol.
I really liked Marvel's cosmic series. The first Annihilation to present and the Novas leading up to cancellation were bright spots in a boring Marvel lineup.
