Funny, I would love for Friedman to GM the Astros. I only hope that Jim Crane would love for Friedman to GM the Astros as well.

What's really interesting is that just two hours earlier, Justice tweeted this:

Seems like after posting that, someone connected to Friedman reached out to Justice and told him not so fast. :)

the second thing I notice in this thread, after the eye-popping title of course, would be yet another dick jusice flip flop.

buzz. kill. i'll be believing this when dude's wearing an open-star logo at a press conference.

but i'll turn handstands if he shows up to the press conference wearing the "new" closed star logo with an "H" in the middle because our new owner wanted to resurrect the old look.

Friedman is an exceptional GM. People do not realize how good he is. Often the Rays were dismissed with "when you're picking at the top of the draft every year..." but that is simply bogus. When Chuck Lamar was steering at the ship it crashed every year. Friedman took over and turned it around.

actually, i'd rather them go more retro than that. the shooting star across the jersey....some tweaked design of that.

but the "H" needs to return.

agree with this wholeheartedly, but at the same time, i do love our unis. nothing like the rockets post-classic uni abomination after abomination.

would definitely switch back in a heartbeat though. an "H" needs to be on the hat.

this city needs a 3-uniform overhaul, and change the Texans name to absolutely anything else while they are at it.

    Please God no.

IMO we got one of the best colors schemes and logo in the majors. Love the burnt red and the open star. I'd be ok if they went to the 90's star too. But the rainbow is hideous.

I'm not for the rainbow guts, but I do really like the rainbows on the sleeves. I also love the flying-star thing from the 70s. That said, I like our current unis just fine, too.
