“The extent and frequency of Crow’s apparent gifts to Thomas have no known precedent in the modern history of the U.S. Supreme Court.

These trips appeared nowhere on Thomas’ financial disclosures. His failure to report the flights appears to violate a law passed after Watergate that requires justices, judges, members of Congress and federal officials to disclose most gifts, two ethics law experts said. He also should have disclosed his trips on the yacht, these experts said.”

Yeah, in a sane world Thomas and Crow would go to jail for the rest of their lives. And Thomas’s wife would get heavy scrutiny too.

But we have a corrupt party that is going to fight this tooth and nail so….

No way they will impeach Thomas. At best Republicans will wait until they get into power again to replace it with another conservative Supreme Court Justice when Thomas voluntarily retire

    Okay Tulsi

Do you think that if it was found out that Brett Kavanaugh was literally breaking the law that the Libs would be like.... making excuses for him??

You sound like one of those "Woke" people that Bill Maher and Tucker Carlson keep talking about. Always making everything about race.

I honestly wonder how often Roberts regrets taking on the job he has. He seems like a smart, decent dude who respects the rule of law and the historic import of the high court's integrity, (increasingly now called into question). I can just see him texting old friends "FML"

agreed, but we all know he won’t tho

He won’t resign, and does anyone think he’d actually get removed?

they don't care about the overall race, only selected individuals that can further their ideology.

There are several tiers of justice in America
The RICH don't have to adhere to any of it. . . unless they victimize someone richer

I hate politics. Seems like most individuals cannot have an unbiased view if it is a threat to their party affiliation. I see it all over facebook, I see it with my own family, I see it with my colleagues, etc. What the **** guys, why can't the rules apply to everyone equally? Why do some individuals get to do whatever the **** they want versus just holding them accountable despite of how little it may be. I'm not saying punish people for going over the speed limit, but geez, if something is unethical, then can we all just agree to hold those individuals accountable?

In your case @Commodore if there was a standing republican president, with a republican controlled Senate, wouldn't you want to hold your guy accountable? Get someone that is more ethical on the bench?

Perhaps he should tell Congress to pass some law to add some independent basic oversight over SC ethics.

That would be a train wreck of unprecedented proportions. But it’s the right thing to do.
