I thought the only redeeming thing about it was the fact that they pushed open homosexuals into the spotlight.

Homosexuality is probably not really something I would be concerned about my children seeing on that show. There are things on that show, that are totally trashy, sleazy, and whatever else. I don't have a problem with homosexuals being shown at all.

I just wouldn't want my younger kids thinking it was cool and normal for casual sexual encounters to happen like that. But I can't imagine the age of kids that I would be worried about seeing that show would actually find it interesting anyway.

Either way the homosexuality is the only positive thing I see in those shows. The gay guys are usually far less promiscuous on the shows that I've seen. The more exposure to it, the less likely people will be to think it's offensive.

 

Yeah, this is pretty much where I was going with my last comment. It seems to me like if you say you don't watch your kids watching homosexuals and bisexuals, then that's kinda homophobic. It basically means that your scared that your kids might grow up thinking that stuff is "OK" or "normal".

That'd be a shame, huh? Because that stuff is certainly not "OK" or "normal", right?

I remember a couple music artists complaining about 12 Angry Viewers, Missy Elliott being one.
But the Celebrity 12 Angry Viewers with Vanilla Ice guest appearance was some of the best MTV programming EVER

lol. Stopped watching the Real World long time ago when I realized that MTV hates Asian males.

The Asian chicks have been pretty hot, though. Can't hate 'em for that.
