I'd rather have ratings hidden, but if these ratings starved owners really need to see numbers then profile pre-season ratings is okay with me. When it comes to major league players, it's all about production. The only thing I really count on ratings for is to tell me when my prospects are ready to move up to the majors.

Free agency should, barring unforeseen circumstances, be on Saturday at 1 p.m. Central time. I will brook very little argument about this, 'cause that's pretty much when I'm available. And if it lasts more than three hours, I'm taking a dinner break. :) It wouldn't surprise me if the draft were held Saturday night sometime - maybe 6-ish central time - but I'll make no guarantees with regards to that until a later date.

A vote of complete indifference for the always adaptable Los Angeles Wakefields.

I'm fine with including numerical ratings in profiles.

Okay, profiles with ratings are going up. Also, trades have been filled. If you're gonna do a new trade, please start a new transaction thread for the 2008 season.

1 pm on Saturday, why not earlier, or like 4 pm central or another day, like Sunday or Friday or the next week.

You might have said you won't take any disagreement, but I speak my mind regardless of who says what. It's part of being a journalist.

Saturday at 1 is the worst time imaginable for me, as my station on campus is live broadcasting a women's basketball game, and while I don't have any official job, I feel it's important for me to help out.

Also, I have over 60 mil in fa money to spend, and there is a lot of young talent out there to help the team I am building in SF, so it's not like I wasn't going to be active, if so I wouldn't have posted this.

Now, you can say leave your offers with somebody else, but with the talent in this class, leaving that in somebody else's hands, it isn't going to happen.

I'm not here to b**** at you or whatever, I just am trying to not make this an open and shut case.

    DV,

I would be willing to do free agency for you. You can just send me your list. I understand, though, if you don't want to go this route.

I just remembered....I have a basketball game that is *supposed* to go from noon to 1 in the afternoon; however, it may be 1:30 before it is done.

So, unless it is 2 in the afternoon (central time), then I guess I can't (if DV wants me to) do free agency for DV.

I can do it for you DV, I'm not planning on doing anything in FA.
