Just because a player is in Houston doesn't mean it's related to the Rockets. Especially since it is not even free agency yet, meaning they can't meet with players. Unless he knows Dwight is coming here and is scouting out housing so that he can sign for the vet minimum.

Going after KG makes too much sense for it to NOT be a rumor. Especially when we're seriously in the fold for Dwight Howard. I expect other FA stars nearing the end of their careers to be spotted in the near future.
KG is a loyal guy, but I wonder how loyal Danny Ainge is nowadays. Or, more to the point, how much Danny Ainge is prepare to spend on a 36-year-old star. KG certainly will not make the $21 million that he made last season, but I don't think he's gonna take a $5 million deal just to do the Celtics a favor. Will the Celtics offer him, say, $12 million a year for 2 years? Will they offer $10 million a year? Will the haggling hurt KG's feelings so much that he bolts? If so, the Rockets can have enough cap space, even after a Dwight trade, to pay KG a large sum. It wouldn't be the first time Morey went after a guy whose feeling were hurt by a small offer from his original team (Trevor Ariza).
Garnett is an NBA champion at the end of his career, why would he want to join a lotto team? Think before you post.
I thought the same about Camby. Who knows. Maybe he lives here. Maybe he likes Kevin McHale. Maybe he doesn't care about chasing rings. Maybe we can offer him the most money.
