Really sorry to hear that man. That's an awfully difficult job to bring yourself to do. 14 years though, that's one heck of a run. It doesn't seem like it when you have to put a dog dog, but that's the equivalent of a very very long life in human years.
Sorry to hear that bud. Getting my first dog a few years ago was the best thing that ever happened to me up till that point. I don't what I'll do when she goes away.
Sounds like you were an excellent pet owner. Go get another dog and share your love and kindness with them.
sorry for you loss. You didn't tell us your dog's name? My dog Beta loves Australian Sheppard's. I think she thinks she is one.
I also got an Aussie from the SPCA. About 5 years ago. Best Dog ever. Bandit is so smart, fun and happy. I hope I got alot longer with my best bud. Sorry to hear what you had to do. Know good and well your buddy died one happy dog.
I really feel for you. One of the worst moments of my life was coming home from work and finding The Wonder Dog dead in my living room. The twelve and a half years I had him, looking back, seem at once like twice that long and half that long. There are few things in this world that equal having a really, really great dog.
so sorry dude. my wife and i just got a puppy a few weeks ago. we absolutely cant live without him anymore. i let my little cousin borrow him for the weekend and miss him like crazy already. my wife almost cancelled her cruise this weekend because she did not want to leave him. i get mad at him sometimes, but the love he shows me when i get home from work is absolutely priceless. he is absolutely like my little kid.
