I don't get how people give Curry **** for being 'arrogant', but a true dbag like Westbrick get's a free pass. When has Curry acted so disrespectful towards an opponent in a press conference?
He's unfailingly polite about everyone when asked. Even when asked about us, this season, whether it's still a rivalry when they keep winning, he said that he thinks it is, that the Rockets probably have some amount of dislike for the Warriors and the Warriors have some amount of dislike for the Rockets and that's how it should be since "they're in our way and we're in their way." That's a pretty shockingly diplomatic response, as he acted like we were peers, rather than easy marks which we were this year.

It is interesting how much slack Curry gets for his weak postseason performances. Imagine if Harden has those performances, he would get crucified on here, and in the national media. If LeBron had games like this, well his legacy was tarnished by his finals performance vs. Dallas and it wasn't this bad so far. All Curry has to do is have 1 good finals game and everyone would go crazy and not even remember all the bad games he's had.
I wouldn't confuse sincere politeness with having enough intelligence to know how to make a non-offensive statement about an opponent....especially with a guy like Curry who KNOWS he is going to bank selling this wholesome family man image. He needs to improve his effort on defense and his movement off the ball, for sure. His shot selection seemed to improve towards the end of the season - i.e. whether to shoot or pass. Despite that, he's every bit as good as anyone in the entire league, except NBA Finals version of Lebron. We got this.
