....and got myself an Xbox 360 pro and an 1080p High-def 22" HP monitor with built-in speakers (just for the bedroom, I have a full size HD TV downstairs) ! scooped up the monitor for $172, it was the last one they had in stock and they spent 20 minutes looking for it (I looked up the deal online and asked them to match it, and they did).. for the XBOX, they were offering a $50 instant gift card with a purchase of any xbox and a "family game".. as you might expect, I'm not interested in any "family games", so I bought the cheapest one listed (14 bucks) and got the $50 gift card, which I used on the monitor and the controller/NBA live 09.. I absolutely love the HDMI connection, picture quality is insane, and NBA Live 09 is freaking awesome.. now, the question is, I need to hookup a Dish Network box to the monitor (because it's essentially an HD TV).. the problem is, the box isn't HD, so it's a co-axial connection, not an HDMI.. we aren't due for an HD upgrade until the new year, so for the next 20 days, I need a remedy. do you guys know of any Co-axial to HDMI or Co-axial to VGA (regular computer connection)? I looked online and found a couple, but I'm not sure if it will work on the monitor.. your help is highly appreciated..
considering that the last NBA Live I played was 06 on my old XBOX, it's definitely an upgrade, even though I miss the old Alley-oop..
I've been a Live guy since '96 on Super Nintendo, but after playing 2k9 on PS3, I highly recommend making the transition.

Hey, what happened to the EA employ - err, forum poster that used to pimp Live at every opportunity. Who was that? This thread is screaming for him.
I'm almost there, except that I do have an ipod Shuffle and I only rent movies from what's available on Time Warner on demand. I have a Razor, too.
