okay yesterday i came in in a flight from dublin-london-houston i had something that i was not supposed to have and could get in serious trouble for it.. call me stupid but i did it and here i am telling you about it.. the security was a joke in both gatwick and houston.. everything these people are doing is to address after the fact scenarios such as the crop duster issue and the like is all reactionary..there are millions of security breaches/terrorist opportunities out there that have not even been addressed because the threat is not there or they didnt even think of it.. all i see is reactionary..although i agree you cannot be everywhere all the time..
I don't know about your first example, but as far as the 10 cops goes, yes, a woman did report that she had talked to her husband on his cell phone from underneath the wreckage, and that he had 10 other cops with him. This really happened. It also turned out to be a hoax and the woman was arrested--which Bill O'Reilly pointed out the next night on the hysterical Factor. Sounds like a retraction to me. Do you have any other specific examples, or are you just out to slam Fox News? And Ally McBeal is a good show, so that says something about your credibility right there.
The pilots aren't supposed to do that. But a lot of pilots have big egos and do whatever they want to. I saw a pilot let Sheila Jackson Lee (who was one of rudest b!tches) into the cockpit. She was pissed because our Chicago flight was late due to bad weather and he was trying to calm her down. She's such a joke. But back on subject, pilots shouldn't be letting passengers sit in the jumpseat. That could be an FAA person and could impose a hefty fine on the airline and employee for doing that.
Indeed, I am just out to slam Fox News. I have a vested interest in ABC, CBS, UPN, NBC, CNN, TNN, WB, PBS and Lifetime, and I really want to slam Fox news because it is my best interest to do so. That being said, I am still waiting for someone else to confirm this 'hijacker as pilot' scoop-a-roo that Fox made up...errrr, reported. As soon as I see it somewhere else, I will retract my bitter, financially-motivated slams of Fox News. cbfc
Financial concerns aren't the only reason to slam something, but you had to know that already. Most people that slam Fox News tend to be liberal.
I did not know that they were slammed by liberals not conservatives. Hmph. We'll settle this bet when we find out about the hijackers as pilots thing.
