Wait!! Don't the Rockets have their training camp at UT training facilities. Man I hope their OK! Also Stay safe dude!
I heard reports of Yao Ming kept asking around if there was still going to be practice. He really wants to work on his game, even if it means dodging a few bullets.
How crazy would it be if you texted your son to see if they were okay only to find out they were the gunman.
@Jonathan_Feigen UT campus just got the all clear. At practice facility, it is just another day. Rockets pulled up, walked in and started practice.
Right next to the Frank Erwin center which is not far from where PCL is at although they aren't within the crime scene perimeters at all.
Another email from Bill Powers: As we secure the main campus, continue to follow instructions from the UT Police regarding when you may leave your building. These instructions will be provided through official communications channels. Once the occupants of a building have been informed that they may leave, those students, faculty, and staff are free to go home - with the exception of those employees who work in critical services. Classes for today are cancelled and will resume tomorrow, September 29. Employees will receive paid emergency leave. Thank you for your cooperation. Bill Powers President
Not sure about an identity, but they're saying he was a UT student. At least I don't have class today. But I've still got a test tomorrow.
Can't figure out if I should answer YES or NO to your question, but... did you really think that I'm trying to get laughter out of an emergency situation? Let the others do that. Continue to get annoyed if you want.
The shooter was an 19 year old student name Colton Tooley http://www.statesman.com/blogs/cont...010/09/28/police_on_scene_of_shooting_on.html
