    Or it could be that professional journalists at outlets like the Wall Street Journal ("libs in wolf's clothing!"), the New York Times ("failing") and Washington Post ("Bezos' slush fund") have sources that go beyond a publicly-released statement from paid council.

    "Witch hunt" is the talking point d'jour I guess but it makes no sense seeing as how the GOP controls all branches of government. Democrats have no power other than to stall and delay--if it's a witch hunt, the GOP is in the drivers seat. Such a sad, snowflake of an administration--#clownshow day 70

    Flynn asking for immunity isn't a surprise.

    His legal counsel would be guilty of malpractice if he didn't insist on it.

    Even if Flynn hasn't committed any obvious crimes, he could say something that could lead to something that could result in Flynn facing criminal charges. That is why immunity is a requirement.

    I am not so sure that Flynn is going to provide substantive evidence of a coordinated effort between the Trump team and Russian operatives.

    Still I am sure there are a number of Republican law makers very nervous.

    Recently Karl Rove admitted he is very concerned.

    How was it false? The Intelligence Community believes Trump is compromised and there is a sex tape. No one but Trump believes Obama wiretapped him. It's not comparable, stop reaching.

    And stop trying to derail this thread. Classic misdirection employed by you guys. Try to turn the debate about thread titles so you don't have to face the reality of what is going on. The real truth here is that the Trump administration lacks integrity, and yet you would rather talk about thread titles than that.

    This isn't just some normal witness asking for immunity, it's the former national security advisor to the POTUS, and there is something not very normal about asking for immunity. And it is a totally legitimate question why someone whose job is suppose to be high in integrity and who was sitting next to the president is seeking immunity. People have a right to ask why he would be seeking it.

    Guess who said that Nook? What liberal Congressman?

    How about Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah? Yes, so you might not think it's a surprise, but even many Republicans on both side of the hill think it's a surprise. Think about that.

    Seems like it's quite real news to me, sure you can argue that unfair prosecution is the reason for this, BUT the report of him having a 'story' to tell says it all.
