    Why is everyone saying that, there were only a few creature like that giant guy. Those other fighter were just wearing masks, they were still human

    For the bazillionth time... the flick is taken from a graphic novel.

    I've read the graphic novel and I think its better than the movie. There's a lot of stuff they add to the movie and other than a greater role for the hot queen they don't help the story but detract from it. Also in the graphic novel the Spartans look Greek instead of Teutonic.

    I still don't understand why people were expecting an award winning plot from this movie.

    Depends on what you're looking for in a movie. The entertainment value for me in this movie was exremely high. Visual effects were stunning and revolutionary. It's not like the movie dragged. Sorry if it didn't have an Oscar worthy plot.

    I agree, if it entertains you, its a good movie regardless of plot. I liked it a lot. I put it just below The Departed and Apacalypto for the movies I;ve seen in the last year or so.
