My buddy was at teh game cheering for us - I called him after Tmac's shot & he didn't even have to speak up to be heard. Place was dead after that.
I hear you bud! It's such a great feeling walking out of there with a win considering all the crap the Mavs fans talk. Glad you were there to represent.
GRENDAL, I was still wired coming back from the game. It was just so intense that T-Mac struck the dagger into the Mavs fans' hearts. When we were down by 7 and 8 in the 3rd and 4th, I never lost hope. When T-Mac hit that shot, a jolt of lightning went through my body and I didn't give a **** who was around me. Once Finley missed the last shot, it was an awesome feeling to scream like crazy to be up 2-0 on your I-45 rivals while the sorry Mavs fans were sulking and cursing. To hear the crap the Mavs fans say about my Rockets on the media and at the AAC, it kills me inside! I hate the Mavs! ------------------------------ I was reading the article from Chron.com and it was amazing to read this: http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/front/3153675 But before Nowitzki's shot, Van Gundy had asked if McGrady wanted a timeout for the last Rockets possession. When McGrady said he just wanted the ball, Van Gundy told him to tell Yao Ming to set a screen and tell no one else. "I think they were surprised we didn't call time out," McGrady said. "I think we shocked them. My teammates didn't even know. We caught them off-guard pretty good. "The only thing I was thinking about was winning the ballgame. Yao set a great screen. I knocked down the shot. It was a great feeling."
yeah when i watched that on tv my first reaction was 'that must be some guy and his wife from clutchfans'
For everyone whose asking if we were the couple at the end of the game, I don't think it was. I was wearing a Yao jersey and my wife was wearing T-Mac. But I'll tell you, you had a bullseye wearing those 2 jerseys in their house. I'm proud I did it!
Man, I could stare at that GIF for hours. I almost feel sorry for Bradley... the big lug makes a sort of half-hearted block attempt and then just curls up like, "Oh no... not AGAIN..."
Dude, I totally know what you mean. Me and the wife were watching the game at home and we must have sounded like crazy people screaming at the top of our lungs, our neighbors must love us, like we were there.
I could never ever feel sorry for Bradley after the knee he gave Barkley to put him out for a large part of the season.
GRENDAL, after the game, I wanted to plan a trip to Houston and buy tickets for Game 3 or 4. We were very blessed to go to a down-to-the-wire-1st-round-playoff-intense game. I'll have pics up tonight.
That was us. 4 indian guys. Drove from Austin. We were in 312. I was wearing a throwback McGrady jersey. My friend was wearing a shirt that had Game 1 score and said Dallas sucks. We got so loud in the end that people from other sections were staring at us.
I know the feeling, Samar. I had these stupid kids next to us trying to mock me and stuff, but the strong word of John Cena kept popping in my head: "YOU DON'T KNOW ME!
I cant belevie we talked so much trash about the Mavs. My roommate just took it to a whole new level (we kept it clean though). But i thought those guys sittin infront of us were gona start something with us. After Drik did a flop I said that Dallas (i meant the mavs) are a bunch of girls. Then that guy turns around and he asks me who im talkin to (or about). So i told him everybody.
