That'd be fantastic, because if I was Houston, I would offer the full MLE. But I keep reading others on the board saying he will command more (i.e. - Bucks would poney up more to keep him).
Bucks are a funny franchise, tries to win just enough to make money and keep on keeping on. They are not likely to break the bank to keep a team together IMHO. They've been 'for sale' forever, but the right terms, including assurance they will not move, have not been met for the senator's satisfaction.
I'd just make one trade: T-Mac for Deron Williams + Boozer (give then any draft pick we have left if they want it). Now my starting roster is: PG - Deron Williams SG - Ron Artest SF - Kevin Garnett PF - Carlos Boozer C - Yao Ming Bench is: PG - Rafer Alston G/F - Bonzi Wells PG/SG - Luther Head PG - John Lucas PF/SF - Chuck Hayes PF - Steve Novak SF - Rashard Lewis C - Jake Tsakalidis We would be the first team that features a 7'6 center and a 7'0 SF, and an All-Star in his prime on the bench.
As good as that sounds, The Rockets couldn't do it. The Rockets would have to pay... Tracy McGrady - $19,014,187 Yao Ming - $13,260,000 Mike Bibby - $13,500,000 Ron Artest - $7,800,000 Plus, If you're looking to sign a Power Forward with The MLE. That's another 5 Million.
Its seems that YOU really need to read the 1st post in the random trade proposal thread. I'll even quote it for you.
Honestly with our results and Les making MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS off Yao/Tmac without getting results, honestly he should be willing to pay. Cuban is and Les has alot of money just like Cuban (over 1 billion). Just my opinion..
Why are you posting in this thread again? The main difference in this thread and the other dedicated trade thread is that this thread starts out with a fantasy scenario that will never happen...in anyone’s world. In this scenario you play GM and already have Artest and Rashard to go along with Yao and TMac. Now I think we can both agree that there is no way that is going to happen. Artest possibly...Rashard? Almost definitely not. Both? No way in hell. Not this year not next. That is what makes this thread pure fantasy. But like I said, it's a long off season and this is just for fun. I warned you at the beginning that this was not a serious draft thread. But if Clutch wants to merge this one he certainly can however this thread is nothing for you to get disjointed about.
First thing I'd do: Look behind all the plants in my office, because if someone tells me Bonzi will exercise his player option and stay for another year at $2 mil or so, it means Ashton Kutcher must be nearby with a camera.
