There is no player, including LeBron James, prime MJ, Dream, Bird, or Magic that can make us a championship team as long as Harden insists on never playing off the ball.

Davis would be the best fit, is the most talented and would fill the biggest need, so he's the easy pick. But I almost picked Gasol, who I think would fit this team and its needs perfectly. If/when Memphis finally falls apart and blows it up in a year or two, Morey should seriously be on top of that.

Any love for paul george? I think hed compliment harden like thompson compliments curry.

He can defend, shoot, and play off the ball. He is also old enough and mature enough to win right now.

I question whether young guns like AD or greek freak would be ready to win right now next to beard.

Also greek freek cant shoot well enough to play next to beard

None. This team is not built as one, not is one player away from championship.

Charles Barkley but we'd have to trade our depth away to get past the Sonics and smacked by the Jazz....

    BOOM! Like clockwork. Here goes..

Kobe won 5 championships and I don't recall him being too fond of playing off the ball. Maybe when Shaq was there, but hell if you gave Harden prime Shaq he would average 20 assists per game.

Your next comment will be to move the goal posts and claim something along the lines of "Well, Kobe played better defense!!!."

Wrong, Kobe was overrated defensively especially during his last two championship seasons. The reason those Lakers won is because they had elite front court players to clean up all of those Kobe bricks and make him look better. They also had the most depth of any team in the league.

Kobe was one of the most selfish players in the league and still won 5 rings despite some real stinkers in the playoffs and poor efficiency. Harden is one of the most unselfish players in the league and you claim that the Rockets will never win with him unless he plays off the ball? What a joke. If anything, Harden could stand to be MORE selfish at times.

I just saved myself at least two comments by condensing it into one comment. Look forward to your response.

Great player but I fail to see how he would fit in this offense. Now, Akeem Olajuwon, that guy's gonna go places, I guarantee it.
