This was just released a couple of months ago. The full original broadcast with no edits. Picked it up at walmart for 13 bucks.. Now to settle in for some nostalgia. I loved the Oilers. Even though this was a heartbreaking loss the Oilers were still more entertaining to watch than the Texans are when they win.
Thats like going to Home Depot, buying a hammer and then giving it to your wife to hit you in the balls with. I believe that is called "adding insult to injury".
Well, there's very little in terms of footage from the Oilers out there and I miss that team so much. I still believe they were the best team in football during the run-n-shoot days, and would have destroyed the Cowboys in the Super Bowl if only they had made it there.
yea, you miss a team that whenever it came to crunch time, performed just like the current Texans. how ironic.
Great find. I just bought that and the White Sox World Series DVD and the DVD footage of the starving orphans from China that had just found parents in America dying when their plane crashed into the ocean. It may be heartbreaking, but I get so nostalgic watching their burning little heads bobbing in the water. The orphans today want sooo much compared to those cuties. I'd take those chinese orphans over our current orphans any day. It's going to be a good holiday of TV watching this year!
When does the Stockton game winning three against the Rockets go on sale? I'm gonna have to pre-order that!
You can't be an Oilers fan... you just can't I can count on one hand the number of time I've cried in my adult life - and that is one of them. How on earth could you own something so horrible? and keep it in your home? with your loved ones around?
I just bought this DVD named "United 93" and another one called "World Trade Center". Can't wait to see how these two end... Also, has anyone heard of a video called "Olympics of Pain"? I think that's on par with that Oilers/Bills video of 1993.
I never actually saw the game because I was on a plane from Washington D.C. to Houston when it happened. The pilot gave the halftime score over the PA and the plane cheered. That was the last update. I remember getting off the plane saying "I wonder what the score is?" Some woman said "Don't worry, no way they blew a lead that big." Anyway, I never saw the actual game so it might be interesting to actually watch it once. But I certainly wouldn't buy a DVD of it.
Being a huge Olider fan and my bday is Jan.3rd,this was the worst birthday gift a 13 year old boy could ever get. I want to find a copy of this just so I can burn it.
TWO times Bebe ran out of bounds and came back in to catch TDs... And Lofton on the ground holding the ball up and has it slapped out of his hands by Jerry Gray....who then picks it up and starts running for a TD.... ****ING REFS !! DD
I'll get right to watching that. After I watch NC State Vs UH. Notre Dame vs UH in the Cotton Bowl, 2005 World Series Highlights and Creed's Greatest Hits DVD.
