What's with you? Why are you obsessed with making one seem better than the other? In terms of previous generation systems, the PS3 and 360 are the most similar systems with the most common games ever. Why can't you just enjoy your system and let other people enjoy theirs?
got my friend to buy one and he got Resistance Fall of Man and NCAA football 09...we play online and it lets us talk crap as he's in Houston and I'm in Dallas... The slim is lighter and cheaper so I know this will be a great xmas item...
PS3 headset is a rip off. Just find a much cheaper bluetooth headset. A lot of them work with the ps3.
MS has fixed the RROD problem with there new motherboard as of last fall new machine. It is old machines are the one that are still RROD....thats why there is a 3 year warranty. I sent an Xbox off for repair on Thursday.....and got it back by the next Thursday...1 week turn around. I have a PS3...gave to the stepson. I barely played it because it is boring. No life to it. The online is crap. Xbox live is just done better with communication with friends/opponents ($50 a year is nothing). As for noise, installing the games to the xbox harddrive eliminates noise (I have 120 GB Elite). It is nice the PS3 allows for standard harddrives upgrades (up the PS3 to 160 GB).
I'm not a fanboy... I just don't know why people still don't see that Xbox has beat PS3. I mean I'm not trying to be ignorant or naive to look at the PS3 things, but when it's all said and done, how can you not see that the Xbox has won?
Well, I didn't expect PS3 owners to admit it... but at least from an unbiased person, you can probably see who the real true winner is.

Having both the 360 and the PS3 is an excellent choice. PS3's exclusives are for the most part outstanding. 360 has some good ones as well, and its online play is top notch. If you're a fan of Mario, Zelda, etc. then having a Wii for Super Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl is worth it right there. Plus Wii Sports is always fun.
I hope you're being sarcastic and aren't really that dense. You do realize the tech has been done already with the EyeToy? that came out years ago, Sony just hasn't used it effectively. Anyway as far as who's winning, I would agree that the 360 is ahead. I don't think it is by any means the better system. From everything I've seen Live looks like a better service than the PSN, but thats not enough to justify buying the 360 ove PS3. I tell you what. Why don't we watch what happens now that the price of the PS3 has been dropped (which people have been crying for for about a year now) and then see which is the better system. Thats if you want to go by sells. Nickelback sells more than a band like Artic Monkeys, that must be proof that they're the better band right? Yes its a different product, but thats with all things. More popular rarely means better. I also think yous lads downplay the year head start way too much. Anyway, if it sucks so much, why are you wasting time in a thread about the PS3? Shouldn't you be chatting on the great 360? Assuming its not in the shop of course.
