The all-star voting is a little flawed, but oh well.

I think this should be the all-star team:

    West
    C: Yao Ming
    PF: Duncan
    SF: Dirk
    SG: TMac
    PG: Nash

    East
    C: Shaq
    PF: JO
    SF: James
    SG: Iverson
    PG: Francis or Wade

I don't really get Barkley. In last year's ASG, Yao got 20 some points, with limited minutes, despite started for the Western team. Not a bad effort for me. With Shaq going to the Eastern, who are you going to start or even play? Yao is not Dream, so what? It's not like after Dream, people should retire the center position. We are voting for this years all star, not alltime all star. Even if we vote alltime allstar to ask them to play together. Applying his logic, numbers counts, does he think he can hold against JH? Can Moses hold against Yao today? That kissing donkey thing really got into him, hurt his huge ego.

It's not flawed at all. The fans decide the starting line up. It means some choises won't satisfy some "experts" and analysts, and some choices won't satisfy some fans, including you and me. Therefore, it is a correct one. If, only if, you figure out a system to make everyone agrees on one thing, now, THAT system is flawed.

barkley is really annoying. Yao is better CENTER than amare, Tmac having better season than KB. I think he just dislike Rox, Sun is his baby

I think Barkley's trash talk on every team that isn't the Spurs is because he has the attitude of, "Man, when I was playin' I coulda whooped all these fools."

Make no mistake. If he were young, he could.

Quote from Shaq regarding Yao having more votes then him this year

"If you look at how he got all those votes, it's not difficult," O'Neal said. "You can't compete with that, because where he's from, there's a billion people. I don't know how many people there (are) where I'm from. All them billions probably love him over there. They don't love me over there."

Correct me if I'm wrong, but last year did Yao's paper ballot votes exceed Shaq's???

The only problem is that you can only play against players within your era. Good or bad, you can only compare to your compitition.

I know Bark-ley wanted Amare to start the Center position for the West. But you cannot blame fans on this one either. After all, in the ballot Amare was listed as PF (I guess it was based on the original position he played last season). I guess Bark-ley is just a bitter person and sometimes narrow-minded.

Amare has better stats because he have a little buddy to feed him the ball....Wait til next year when Yao'll have his own little buddy name Jason Kidd to feed him, then let the judgement begin.

Yes, there are more than a billion Chinese. But as far as I know, at most 10 million have the ability to access internet. And a lot of them even don't care NBA. Those guys are soooooooo stupid and envy Yao's popularity.
Amare over Yao? Are you kidding? Anthony can even beat him easily.
    Why nobody blame Carter? Hill?
Barkley is the Biggest LOSER in the history. You can even smell his jealousness whenever he shouted "Amare, Steve Nash". Haha

Uh, I'm afraid you'll have to wait a lot more than a year to see that. More like forever.

As I understand it when reading the ESPN insider, top management from Phoenix along with Amare met with Nash and made him a deal----No reason why that can't be duplicate with top management from Rockets along with Yao and make Kidd an offer----better still, bring Tracy along and discuss the triangle.
