Dude, that trade allowed them to dump salary and Scola was the Rockets reward for taking on that salary. Plus it gave Scola his shot at the NBA. He never played a single game for the Spurs. Who knew that he was going to be as solid as he has turned to be.

Besides, I would pump my brakes before I start calling one of the NBA's most successful franchises over the last decade "stupid". (I hate them but its true)

Also I think Manu doesn't have much left, He has played ALOT of basketball between the Spurs Reg. Season, Playoff/Title runs, & the Olympics. Let's go for a hungry younger player!

Manu is nice, but not sure where he fits. Bud is a natural backup to Martin, if Battier is moved, Jeffries backing up Ariza would be a natural fit while adding much needed length to the forward spot.

If anything, bring in the young Manu, Sergio Llull.

He is getting old, and stuff, thats why he plays only 28 minutes, he would be tired now, if he plays more, but I wouldnt complain, because he gives everything for the team on those minutes, all the hustle, especially in the 4th quarter.

I would like it a lot if Ginobili signs for 2 or 3 years.

He'll probably gonna stay with the Spurs at a discounted rate due to his age but who knows. One thing I assure you is, if the Spurs don't re-sign him he would be sure to play for a contending team not on the losers or weaklings. Perhaps with one exception of course if the Knicks offers him one of their "Max Contract" he will gladly accept it

I think he is worth the MLE for a 2 year deal.

Manu's flop = "omg ahm SHOT! D:" At the slightest touch, sometimes just at the perception of contact.

Scola simply falls back at the slightest advantageous bump... be it by legitamately beating the offensive player to his movie to the basket in a drive, or by attempting to do so, risking a blocking call..

It has been my dream since 04 to see Manu in red. He still has gas in him but we would have to get rid of Battier. Sad but Manu is defensive savy and still can produce points. Please make this happen Morey.

We are already loaded at SG/SF positions, there is a better chance of us going after and landing Chris Paul or the NO backup that has been killing it lately at PG.

    lol!
