    I would MUCH PREFER AK47

    Any chance of getting AK47?

Weak side blocking is what we need BADLY, when yao goes out all teams just instantly go to the basket. AK47 would shut that crap down.

    I don't believe this ****.

Why would two teams fighting for playoff spots and could possibly face each other make a trade like this. That would make no sense.

i just can't stand those jazz fans, some said the trade good for both teams, some said it will take a huge step back for them and scola and artest have terrible attitudes, common, do they seriously think boozer has so much value and they know nothing about our players.

This would not happen, but the rumor started at 610AM in Houston.

If we HAD to deal with the Jazz [gulp] i'd possibly be open to an Artest-for-Okur swap. That could be enough to just make me sick rather than outright kill me.

well if you made a trade for Boozer it would probably include a new contract like when we traded for TMAC. This would get them something in return for Boozer instead of just letting him walk.

What a horrible trade that would be. Just awful. We need a point guard upgrade. Nothing else really matters until that happens.

I mean the trade would not make sense for us. I just don't see two playoff teams who are fighting for playoff spots would make a trade of this magnitude.

I can't believe some of you guys.. LOL I understand the hate for the Jazz but put your anger aside and Boozer is one of the premier power forwards in all of the NBA,... This would be a HUGE upgrade over our current PF's and he is a legitimate 2nd Option behind Yao.. I would take that in a heartbeat. Boozer is the real deal.. I can't believe some of you guys hahah.. Now I would only do the trade if we can sign him to a long term contract.. As a matter of fact I would do the trade big time if they throw in there 3pt specialist..

You realize Durant is still on his rookie contract, right? So the "filler" would have to be about $18 million.

    That's a good laugh.

I've said exactly the same thing. AK47 would be awsome on this team. But there's some problems.

    1. He's Jazz
    2. He's Jazz
    3. His contract is crazy big
    4 He's a whiny little *****.
    5. Not likely the Jazz/Rockets do a trade in the conference.
    6. He's Jazz

But AK47 would absolutely be a shot-blocking force to compensate for Yao and AK doesn't need the ball in the paint to be effective and clogging the lane with Yao.

In a parallel universe, AK47 would be awesome. Fortunately, we live in reality and there is no chance in hell that would happen.
