Well 21% is higher than 12.7% And 50.7% is lower than 61.3%

As of July 2016, White Americans are the racial majority. African Americans are the largest racial minority, amounting to an estimated 12.7% of the population. Hispanic and Latino Americans amount to an estimated 17.8% of the total U.S. population, making up the largest ethnic minority.[8] The White, non-Hispanic or Latino population make up 61.3% of the nation's total, with the total White population (including White Hispanics and Latinos) being 76.9%.[9]

Kind of interesting that the politicians parroting the “Smollett attack” are the same ones parroting the “Trump collusion” narrative.

Interesting that I think Smollet should go to prison (and longer than the 3 possible years) and trump should go to prison if he is convicted of committing crimes. Very consistent, no?

I'd be more curious what in that tweet Schiff found so objectionable he would decide to delete it.

    But that's just me.

Not convinced that the case is bad for real hate crime victims. Disrespectful, sure. But Chicago police demonstrated they aren't complete suckers. Folks inclined to think that the next hate crime report is manufactured can rely on the detective skills of the police to vet claims. If police take it seriously, we should take it seriously.

His tweet was based on believing the allegation. Now that he was shown to be wrong, he's cleaning up the record. I don't think it's a big deal. He knows people know about and will record what he had said. He just doesn't endorse that statement anymore.

As much as the mass media has done to display their blatant Democrat left partisan bias, what may demonstrate their bias most of all is what they choose not to cover:

MSNBC’s primetime lineup mysteriously ignores Jussie Smollett hoax bombshell

“All In With Chris Hayes,” “The Rachel Maddow Show,” “The Last Word With Lawrence O’Donnell” and “The 11th Hour With Brian Williams” did not utter Smollett’s name the last two nights as news unfolded that Smollett was being charged with orchestrating an elaborate hoax involving two "bogus" crimes -- one involving an alleged attack, and one involving a threatening letter -- allegedly all in order to get a pay raise.

MSNBC did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

"To downplay or ignore the Jussie Smollett hate crime hoax charges is a politically biased journalistic choice. The Smollett case represents the collapse of a cherished MSNBC false narrative, that Trump supporters supposedly are racist, homophobic and violent," Cornell Law School professor and media critic William A. Jacobson told Fox News.

When Kamala was asked by that reporter the other day about her tweet on the attack , I think she should have simply responded with something along the lines of "Well , Jussie fooled us , I'm glad law enforcement found the truth and hope the courts hold him accountable."
That would be the end of it for her …. rather she looked like a cat caught in the canary cage with a big ass grin.

I didn't see it, and I'm sure the sentiment is not that much different than 90% of the people out there that typically stand up for hate crime victims. I'm not sure why Kamala is being singled out as having some sort of responsibility here to anything related to this. Didn't Trump tweet out that a hate crime against Jussie S. was a bad thing? But he gets off because we know he didn't actually mean to support him, and was just saying it.

But because we think someone actually truly stands behind a victim, and gives them their trust (which he abused and should be ashamed of himself), they are held to a higher standard for someone else's abuses?

I just don't understand the Kamala connection here other than the fact that she's running for president, and is a threat to Trump getting re-elected in 2020?

My point was that she really bares no responsibility …. for anything other than her own words which were ":That's a modern day lynching" …. and had it been factual rather than contrived , I'd tend to agree with her …. which is why I think her response should have been what I posted above - Jussie fooled us - that's on him.
