The Detroit and San Antonio championships were some of the best non-ref interference runs ever. Nothing flashy nor scripted.

Yo D I love you man but Simmons is on his 2nd contract when has a guy made a leap after that?

If he is still not shooting 3's at this point he will never shoot them .

what does age have to do with him refusing to shoot from the perimeter he has been playing ball for how long and in the NBA over 4 years now.

You sure are using a lot of hyperbole to paint peoples real concern about Simmons at max money to make a point.

Yes he still has room to improve but he is not gonna drastically change his game.

Not saying they can't improve but did they all of sudden start shooting from the perimeter from o to 3 + shots per game?

Rockets fall occurred when Tillman Pulled the rug from under Morey after the Hong Kong statement.

Morey kept Harden happy and all was good. I don’t think Tillman realized, you screw with Morey you lose Harden. Which might explain why Rockets didn’t even entertain the 76’s deal with a counter offer. The Rockets figured it out too late!!!

    Only 24 years old.

    Runaway DPOY this season.

    3rd consecutive All Star.

And 3ball is important but there are other skills in basketball as important that Simmons is elite at.

The ABSOLUTIST takes on this kid is inane.

None of that means anything if you don't have a MVP type player with him, something you seem to be ignoring.

Who cares if he is an allstar and DPOY if you are a middle of the road team?

If Embid was not on that team and Simmons was the cornerstone he would be getting the bust label.

24 years old means very little when you have already played 4 years in the NBA.

What about what i said is absolutist?

The fact that he has 3 total 3 point attempts the entire year? Please explain how this changes because he is only 24 years old?

So after breaking up a championship level team to bring his buddy Westbrook to Houston, he bails out.....because he finally figures out he is not a leader.

I wish him well, and enjoyed his play, but we were NEVER winning with him as the main man - he just doesn't have that quality.

Yes, because everyone know that trade was 100% on Harden.

DD, I'm scared I might one day pull a muscle rolling my eyes at one of your posts.

He seems to be doing just fine as a leader with the Nets.

Regular season. We know what he's capable of. Let's wait and see how it all goes come playoff time, when real adversity will hit.

They're a very talented team, but their defense is not good. Philadelphia, Milwaukee and Miami won't be pushovers.

How well do you think the Rockets are gonna do in the playoffs this year? Chance of going all the way?

I can't believe we passed up on Simmons. I was absolutely confused when people wanted the Nets deal and in hindsight it's even more obvious how much the Rockets got fleeced.

This account is quite different from what we’ve read from other “journalists” including that vulture McMahon (who just slightly re-worded and re-published his piece on Harden’s last days). Who to believe?
