    You enjoy a reactive government instead?

    She gets a lot of hate, but she has done a lot of good for Harris County thus far. She really is focused on helping out the less fortunate, so I'm glad my taxes are mostly going to good use. I don't mind the pop up NRG deal since she was attempting to be proactive, although she should of been more patient and taken the advice of HC doctors.

    No, I'm 33 but not in Harris County...the county seems to not care as long as people are getting the shot on a consistent basis.

    Yeah, my 39 year-old stepbrother (not an "essential worker") was vaccinated already...probably the only good part about living in Amarillo (well, other than being much closer than Houston to cool places to visit in NM, AZ, and CO etc).

    In the county I went to a guy had a beer, tossed it, and still went in to take the vaccine. He was younger than I was and they didn't care...just wanted to get vaccines in arms. Folks will have more luck in the smaller counties that are having issues like that.

    To be honest, although I understand the "hierarchy" / pecking order, I really think the process is gumming up the works. Just f***ing vaccinate everyone. "Attention CVS shoppers, if you haven't had a vaccine for COVID and want one, herd to the pharmacy and get it, first come first served*."

    * - That's what she said.

    I have also sent Judge Hidalgo emails. Hundreds of them. Some with pictures, so many sonnets... not a single response.

    I thought the phase of priority was a state mandated approach.

    She is very good at her job.

    She is very bright and hardworking and doesn’t bow to political pressure.

    She is breaking through a good ole boys club as well.

    She is a true American success story and a role model.
