Dude, Melo didn't hit his head anywhere near Durant's hips. Durant isn't that tall, even if melo was crouching there was no way for him to hit the hips of Durant because Durant wasn't facing him sideways. At most he hit Durant's chest, no way is that enough to cause him to lose consciousness. LOL Durant didn't even feel a thing. Even his teammates knew Melo was faking it, nobody came to help him.

Your signature is dumb, kobe was 18-19 year old rookie out of hs. Chase was playing college ball for 3 years.

No need to insult the man about it. Even though his post didn't make any sense besides having JR in his name.

I guess Luther Head had a better rookie season than Kobe too.

I'd swap Shane Battier for J.R. Smith any day of the week. J.R. has the potential to explode for 25+ points on any given night. He's a very serious threat from 3-point range, and he's one of the most gifted leapers in the league. He's very versatile on the offensive end of the floor. Battier, on the other hand, is the consummate professional, a true role model, and, frankly, the complete opposite of Smith. He's a savvy vet, and he's extremely fundamentally sound on D. But, he's breaking down and aging, and is far past his prime. Smith is at his peak, and could be a very capable substitute. He's a change-of-pace guy in the Wafer mold, but far more skilled than Vanilla ever was, or will be. Plus, the kid loves to run the floor (perfect fit for Lowry and the 2nd unit). It may be a risk based on his attitude issues, but it would be well worth it considering the potential pay off. He could be the piece that pushes us to another level. Many folks love Battier for his personality and work ethic, which definitely are beyond exceptional, but he's far too passive on the offensive end of the floor, and his days are numbered. He doesn't have the youth and energy to hang with uber-athletic swingmen anymore, and it would be wise to ship him while he still has some value. Plus, J.R.'s already a Houston resident, and he's a regular at Fonde. But, in all honesty, I highly doubt Morey pursues J.R. due to his excessive baggage. This is a move that Les would've made in a heart beat.

*Check that, a move Carroll Dawson (not Les) would've made in a heart beat.

Its actually not a defense. The issue your so obsessed with bringing up wont affect whoever JR plays for. I don't care about what JR did off court (neither should fryhead  ) aslong as he doesn't have a pattern of doing it in which it affects the team. The guys too talented to pass up given the opportunity.

Ohhh really....?? so you saying that if you don't have the right attitude and the chemistry you can still win a championship..?? well it's abvious that you don't know a thing about basketball.

Why do you have such a boner for J.R. Smith? Do you watch him play? He's a volume shooter who jumps high, he's not that great. Karl hates the guy for a reason.

By the way, he just tried to choke a guy at the Nuggets' practice facility.

Nah, the incident actually occurred on the 13th. The Nugs are fed up with his antics, and this only pushed the front office over the edge. Hence, J.R. being placed on the block.

Your comprehension skills are weak, the sig is only to tell people that Chase is not a finished product and not to judge a player after his rookie year.

I believe we can do something about that with the trade exception we got from Trevor Ariza deal. What does the Denver has that we want..... Oh ya, there is that star SF!

I wonder if the "lay down" option will be in NBA 2k11? It disrupts both offense and defense. I like it.
