Whatever man. It's not one of those "one foot is turning too early" things. His entire body is facing at LEAST to the bench, and his feet are already turning his body back towards the ball (towards center court almost) as he starts his jump. It's not even close to a 360, so it's idiotic to call it that. Still an insane dunk
JR Smith has to be turned around a little to even SEE the pass behind him. Therefore taking away some of the angle from the start. Smith would literally need eyes in the back of his head with his feet completely forward to do a 360 there. Maybe off a pass thats in FRONT of him he could do it, coming from the Nuggets basket to him, not from halfcourt to him.
I'm going with 315 (where he left his feet in relation to the basket) Show me one single, in game 360. Most of the one's I've come across are 270's.
Why argue over the degrees of the dunk? Just appreciate it for what it is cause you will never see something like that for a while.
'Cause we are all nerds. Got to get with it when you have a nerd GM that is being worshiped as a deity.
If I was nerdy enough I could capture the paused image of him with his feet on the ground and facing towards the bench. Most "360s" aren't exactly 360 - it's a 270, but close enough!
ZOMG HE DIDNT EVEN DO A FULL 360! MORE LIEK A 267.68999998995596° of course by actual definition of degrees it's not a full 360 but so are most 360 dunks but by basketball definition it's a 360
That is garbage. Now for a real dunk <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/B2Cg7w_8kkU&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/B2Cg7w_8kkU&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
I actually got to meet Torian at a pickup game a couple of summers ago. Dude is sick, but injuries kept him from competing at the professional level.
