    I'd like to see him get some playing time at 3 during training camp. He's built like Randolph. Maybe he could become a Parson's type player.

    Imagine the length of a 2nd unit of 1. Jones, 2. Patterson, 3. Johnson, 4. Lamb, 5. Livingston. I like our options.

    He's saying he didn't say that.

    If you were a power forward, a late first round pick and a player who needs time to develop, why would you want to be on the Rockets? There are tons of those on this team.

    If he does want out, I can't say I blame him ... and as a fan of the Rockets, I wouldn't take it personally.

    Exactly. Who is here to mentor him in his mind? I think the players coming into the league don't know what kind of dominant post player Kevin McHale was and reading his quotes, he doesn't think McHale could mentor him at all like Garnett.

    I believe he was crushed when the deal went through and wasn't caught on camera saying these things but I'm sure something similar was said with a couple profanities.

    The problem with the roster as it is right now IMO is that there is no experienced leadership for the young (studs).

    And JJ may well have said as you suggested - - so what? Why wouldn't a guy in his situation want to sit behind KG (or similar) than Donuts and PPat? He wants, needs minutes and/or mentoring to make those minutes mkeaningful in time.

    The question is why did we trade for another PF? I know we could've at least gotten a late first rounder for Lee from somebody
