He has to clear waivers first, so decision is not expected until tomorrow at the earliest.

should have been this should have been that......dmo should have been our first option in the post last couple of games...

what consistent value you talk about with dragic? he averages 16pts and 4 assist this year...holy cow even jeremy lin could give you such a production...

You really think Josh Smith would play the three?

D-Mo is no where near the player Smith is.

One thing about D-Mo: 7+ footers with those kind of post moves and defensive abilities don't come along as often as good PG's.
The Rockets have been able to groom good guards through out the years (dragic, Lowry, bev). Centers? None since Yao Ming. Howard doesn't count.

if you're worried about that then Houston is not winning a championship any time soon and probably won't in the harden era

I don't think the Rockets have to give up DMo for Dragic considering Dragic can leave for nothing this offseason. However, if I had to choose between Bev/DMo and Dragic/Smith, I'll take the higher ceiling of Dragic/Smith

Wow, I'm slowly backing out of this discussion because I can already see it's going to go nowhere.

come playoff time this is where houston will get exposed, if harden has to play out of his mind for them to win.

I think they can win with the team they have now, and Harden is the guy that matters, a lot more than Dwight.

Do you follow the 76ers? sounds like your mentality for basketball is about losing

You are right DMo is way better at this point in each of their careers.

And only one will continue to improve while the other ones waning athleticism and low bball IQ will have them out of the league sooner than later.

yeah right..the team right now is not a championship team. If you don't have Dwight in the playoffs, you are not winning period. a stretch of regular seasons wins and all of a sudden dwight isn't important smh.

well howard (the best center and DPOY and jones and beverley 2nd all nba defensive player) were injured and we kept winning and playing great D...and DMO replaced howard and jones defensively and offensively...

when DMO gets the ball on the low block you simply feel secure and you want him to have it.... unlike the best center with the best post game of all other centers in the league-DWIGHT- when he gets the ball you cringe and you simply know something bad could easily happen... either he will fumble it or it will be stripped down or he will miss or make a stupid turnover or offensive foul...in best case he will be fouled and he will knock one of 2 fts...

its not a small feat to have a better offensive game than the best nba center....while dwight is clearly strugling offensively in the post... dmo is like dolphine in the water on the low block...he suddenly becomes trasformed into another being when he gets the ball downthere...you dont give up sucha 7 ft jewel for an average or slightly above average nba guard...

I tend to agree wholeheartedly with you last point. People are saying Dmo's unproven but hes been a very talented big game since we drafted him and it's just now coming to him. It is VERY hard finding legitimate seven footers with that type of skillset yet people want to ship him out for a good pg awash in a sea of good pg's, never mind that it could very well be a 1/2 season rental.

Duncan/splitter, durant/ibaka, zbo/gasol, dirk/chandler, LMA/lopez, griffin/deandre, hell even bogut/lee when healthy.... You NEED big man depth to come out of the west. A big man rotation of d12/smith/dmo is scary deep. I value that more than I do dragic, especially considering how much harden demands the ball.

you do realize its alot easier to win a regular season game then grinding out a playoff series dont you? a playoff series exposes weaknesses and the game changes

I can't take you serious when you hype up a bench player who had a nice 10-15 game stretch.

You are advocating D-Mo get the half court post touches.

Smith is an all star calliber player stuck playing the three in Detroit. D-Mo is a third option at best in our offense. Leave it at that.
