It's obvious McHale reads these forums for suggestions. Now how about some guys continue with smart suggestions. Make a new thread outlining a complete and total game plan for game 6 for McHale. You may be shocked that what you post might be implemented in Game 6.
I hope the win tonight shut all these negative a__ holes down from page 1. I liked this move, Josh Smith can defend and rebound and has a lot of experience. Terrence Jones has been killing us he can't finish and defend at all. And he can't rebound either.
it made a difference tonight - Jones has been terrible on defense - not getting back in transition getting lost on pick and rolls. Its been a huge reason why Griffin has been able to explode early in the game. Smith played Griffin a lot better - and Griffin yet again got his points against Jones but it slowed the Clippers offense early enough to not let them get out to a larger lead
Start Brewer and have him and Ariza switch off on Paul and Reddick, both guys struggle with defenders with length.
An adjustment made 4 games too late. This move should have been made after Game 1. Everybody knows TJones is a terrible defender.
Game 6 starting lineup: PG: Harden SG: Ariza SF: Brewer PF: Smoove C: Dwight These are our most athletic/best players and 3 of them can handle the rock and make plays. Bring in Terry first man off the bench for instant offense. Bring in Jones when Fat Baby comes in or it's apparent we're getting "bad Josh" for the night. Capela if Dwight gets into early foul trouble. I really hope we get Good Josh again. He can do so many things when he's on and is a true game changer. Got all that Milk Hair?
thats the most talented lineup they can have. i was hoping they'd use it at the end of the regular season so they dont lose anything on defense, esp vs pgs. the bench would be fine with smith and playoff terry. terry would have an advantage going up against 2nd units, and could take some of priggs minutes giving us more scoring. all they'd need to do is give kostas 5-10minutes a game. they're doing it with capella.
the thing i like about Smith starting is that he isn't afraid to make plays or shoot and it gives Houston another play maker in the starting line up
I didn't think we had Good Josh in game 5. He played better than we've seen so far and had a solid even if not remarkable game, but he still wasn't anywhere near his best.
