Teams can always sell you on something and it's a different experience once you're there You can always get another job offer and once you take it up you realize that the grass is not always greener on the other side and there are better jobs out there
From the point that he got here, Josh Smith had the second highest usage rate on the team. It may work out for the best in the end, but this is a big hole that will need to be filled. Anybody who thinks this is no big deal for the team is kidding themselves.
and still there is a lot of you who thinks that morey I genius, all he do is change 10 players every year and he still didn't make a serius team for championship
If Smith works out exactly like Artest, this will be the worse nightmare for the Rox. World Peace left the Rox and went to LA and won a championship.......
I can't blame Daryl Morey and the Rockets when they were the highest bidder for Josh Smith. He took a million less that the Rockets were offering him and has to pay state income tax.
ya i could insult/demean you here as well, citing your intellect, achievements, social/economic standing, etc etc. however, you are likely a diehard rockets fan, so i'll stay decent and just offer up the possibilities that perhaps smith thinks balmer might be willing to spend more on his team overall to bring a winner, or that balmer offered him a bigger deal next summer when the cap increases, or that balmer promised him a handsome portfolio of so-cal endorsement money, etc etc. let's not pretend like les alexander being one of the poorest owners in the league and ballmer being one of its wealthiest has no bearing on how their respective franchises are run.
Hack-a-DeAndre and Hack-a-Josh against Hack-a-Dwight, Hack-a-Capela, Hack-a-Dorsey and Hack-a-Trez. Epic battles.
It also helps not seeing your team's "franchise player" sit on the bench in a game 6 because he didn't have what it took.
There are half of the people in this broad has totally no idea wtf they are talking about. And then half of the people are just trolls. So, there is no hope for not seeing garbage here.
I'm guessing Josh was as good as gone when Morey tried to sign LMA. Howard not being at that meeting was a sign that Josh wasn't happy. On the Clippers I assume Josh will play some SF when Lance is playing SG.
Or maybe Smith thinks the Clippers' top 3 players are better than the Rockets' top 3? Last year, the Rox needed a miracle comeback to win and then got rolled by the Warriors. Maybe Smith is just hedging his bets.
Nope. Actually the Rockets proved to be the better team just a couple of months ago. You prove it on the court and nowhere else. Maybe you missed the memo.
