UPDATE: Blog Post... Josh Smith not returning to Rockets, will sign with Clippers http://rockets.clutchfans.net/9002/josh-smith-not-returning-houston-signs-with-clippers/ <HR> https://twitter.com/ShamsCharania/status/621786946835124224
I guess I'll wait to see it confirmed by someone else, but if true, wow...that is a shocker for sure. Clippers can't give him the playing time OR the money and he still chooses to leave?
They couldn't have offered really anything more than we could have, right? He had the perfect setup here. Dwight must be devastated.
I'll be curious to find out how much he's getting and what the Rockets offered. If we find out Morey lowballed him and drove him away, that's a major F-up on his part. He had his share of sh-tty games, but there's no way we beat Clippers(or knock off the Mavs in 5 for that matter) without Smith. And we sure as hell ain't Southwest Division champs.
With DMo coming off of back surgery and TJones being used as trade bait...JSMOOVE could have started for us, at least some games.

Honestly, I'm not that unhappy about Josh Smith leaving. His game had a lot of negatives that came with positives.
