I have no issue with Smith leaving. I did think it was funny when he said "At the end of the day, you know, I do have a family. So it is going to be a little harder on me this year. But I'm going to push through it, you know." when Detroit is still on the hook for his old contract. Pulling in only $6.9 million next year, I really feel for the guy. Maybe ClutchFans can take up a collection for him.
